This is an article on how to generate Key Macros from Orchestrate's Resolve Module
Software Version: 25.3.2023.5.1R
Macros are useful for entering diagnostic or configuration menus.
Remote selector/Macro panel - Allows the user to select a specific remote (OAK remote for H200),
and to send pre-defined macros (a collection of key presses) to the connected device.
In order to create them, you must be in the "Resolve" module and the STB must be in "Ready" status, then "Launch Remote Screen"
The Key Macros are in the upper center of the preferences page.
Example:
How to create a Key Macro to activate/deactivate HDMI CEC mode:
1.- Press "Edit" -> "New Macro"
From there, the user must manually enter the code with the STB Virtual remote control, for example, the process to turn ON/OFF HDMI CEC Mode. The key sequence will be recorded in the Key Macro:
In this example, the OAK Remote blue button is mapped to access the STB "Settings" Menu:
In the Group Settings:

The system itself will start recording the user keys presses to get to HDMI CEC settings:
When completed this procedure, the user must press
1."Accent Mark"
2."Done Editing" buttons:
From here, the user will have a new and customized Key Macro to use:
Select it from the Key Macro drop menu and then press Send.
As seen in the graphic, the STB will turn on/off the HDMI CEC.
This function is for any configuration/automation that you want to have in Orchestrate System.
