Introduction
This article is aimed at users of the H200 who might want to display video in Portrait (Vertical) mode as well as in the standard Landscape (horizontal) orientation.
From firmware version 25.3.2231.6R the web browser component on the H200 supports video playback in both screen orientations.
The setting will be applied after the H200 has booted up and referenced the INI file for its configuration instructions.
The screen orientation is controlled by an INI option "system.user_rotation".
The accepted values of this option are the degree of clockwise screen rotation with 90 degrees on each step. (either 0,90,180 or 270).
Below is an example of video playback with different screen orientation.
Normal orientation (landscape/horizontal mode - default).
system.user_rotation=0
90 degree clockwise : ( portrait/vertical mode )
system.user_rotation=90
180 degrees clockwise : (inverted landscape/horizontal mode)
system.user_rotation=180
270 degrees clockwise : (inverted portrait/vertical mode)
system.user_rotation=270
