Introduction
For the H-Series to be used with an external USB or a micro SD card flash drive it needs to be set up correctly.
Prerequisites
Own an H-Series media player and have either a USB or micro SD card flash drive.
Have the firmware 25.6.2411.1R or above.
USB requirements:
- USB 2.0
Micro SD card requirements:
- Speed Class 10 U1
- Max. 2TB

Summary
H200
In the H200 model, there are 2 USB slots where you can insert your USB flash drive. To format it proceed to the last section of the article.
In case you need to use a micro SD card you will have to open the H200 metal enclosure to access the slot by following the steps:
1. Start by removing the 2 Hex nuts located on each side of the Serial port.
2. Remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the case.
3. Remove the 2 screws at the top of the case.
4. Remove the top case.
5. You can now access the micro SD card slot located between the USB port and the power supply.
6. Proceed to formatting the external flash drive in the last section of the article.
H200W
In the H200W model, there are 2 USB slots where you can insert your USB flash drive. To format it proceed to the last section of the article.
In case you need to use a micro SD card you will have to open the H200 metal enclosure to access the slot by following the steps:
1. Remove the screw of the micro SD card cover.
2. You can now access the micro SD card slot.
3. Proceed to formatting the external flash drive in the last section of the article.
Formatting external storage
To format the external storage you will have to launch the OS settings menu by following the steps below:
1. Press the menu button on the remote control.
2. Go to System in the Mani Menu.
3. Select Developer Options.
4. Launch Android OS Settings.
5. You should now see the following menu.
6. Select Device Preferences.
7. Select Storage and you will see the flash drive in the "Removable storage".
8. Select the external flash drive and "Erase & format as device storage".
9. Accept the formatting prompt and let the process finish.
10. You can now choose to move all H200 data to use it as device storage.
