Introduction
This article will introduce the Connectivity Test function in H-Series.
The Connectivity Test aims to show the connection status between the H-Series and Orchestrate servers.
Prerequisites
This article assumes you have an Amino media player (running the firmware 25.6.2420 or above) and an Orchestrate account.
Summary
How to launch the Connectivity Test
1. Press the "Menu" button on your remote control and select the "Network" option.
2. Scroll down and choose the option "Orchestrate Connectivity Test".
3. The connectivity test will be carried out automatically and if everything is correctly configured, all fields (DNS, Gateway, Configuration, and Remote Control) will pass from "Running" to "Passed".
Detailed Report Option
After the test is concluded, you can choose this option to obtain more detailed information regarding the test performed, such as Local Access, Configuration, Remote Control, and Diagnostics.
The Local Access will show you the results on the H-Series Network, such as the Network port, DNS, and Gateway.
In Configuration, it shows the connection status of the Manage Server.
In the Remote Control tab, it will show the connection status of the Resolve Server.
The Diagnostics tab will display a more extensive and detailed view of the Orchestrate DNS/IP.
You can also check the ports associated with the service.
Troubleshooting
There may be cases where the Connectivity Test fails, as shown in the screen below.
In most cases, it is related to the ports, required to run the services, not being opened in your local network's firewall.
You can follow this article to validate which ports must be allowed to traffic.
For Premium Orchestrate accounts, if the Remote Control shows as failed, the Resolve server parameter is not set up correctly.
Please ensure this is enabled in the Orchestrate's Group details:
